Biography

Tom’s practice focuses on commercial transactions and litigation. He has practiced in front of General Sessions Courts, Circuit Courts, Chancery Courts, Appellate Courts across Tennessee, and in front of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
After moving to Middle Tennessee with his wife Barbara in 2000, he began his legal career working for Judge Thomas W. Brothers during the day and attending the Nashville School of Law at night. He was chosen by his peers to deliver the commencement address for the class of 2005. After graduation, he clerked for Judge Thomas W. Brothers, then began a practice that spanned decades and represented clients in General Sessions Courts up to the Supreme Court of Tennessee. He has practiced with the perspective that his clients are the most important aspect of every case and that if he can’t help you, he can find someone who can.
