Biography

Chris Thompson is a dedicated trial lawyer based in the Mount Juliet area, with deep roots in Arkansas and long-standing ties to Wilson County. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lyon College, his Master of Business Administration from Bethel University, and his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law. After graduating, Chris passed the bar exam on his first attempt in multiple states and began practicing civil litigation across Tennessee.
Chris has spent time representing injured victims at a large plaintiffs’ firm, managing a substantial caseload and standing up for clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He then gained additional perspective by defending civil cases before managing a criminal defense office, where he handled hundreds of misdemeanors and felony matters statewide.
Today, Chris uses his broad litigation background, spanning civil plaintiff work, and criminal defense, to advocate for injury victims throughout Tennessee. He is committed to making sure his clients’ stories are heard and that they receive the justice they deserve.
Outside the courtroom, Chris remains closely connected to the Wilson County community. He dedicates a significant portion of his free time to coaching soccer with a local Wilson County club, underscoring his commitment to service and to the community he calls home.
