Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC
Founded in 1987
Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC, was established in 1987 when Jere McCulloch and Jody Aulds, partners since 1982, joined their practice with that of former Tennessee State Senator, Robert (Bob) Rochelle, who was licensed in 1969. With a staff of eight, the law firm offered legal services in a broad range of civil and criminal practice.
By 1993, with the addition of attorneys and staff, the firm outgrew its office on Lebanon’s town square. Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds began construction of its new office building on the former Castle Heights Military Academy grounds, becoming a leader in the revitalization of the historic campus.

RMA Law
Jere N. McCulloch, a native of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was licensed to practice law in 1973, and began his practice in Lebanon. He called on college friend, Jo Ann “Jody” Aulds, to work in his office on a “temporary” basis which turned into full time. Recognizing her talent, he convinced her to become an attorney and sent her to law school. Upon her graduation in 1982, they formed a partnership working out of an office on Lebanon’s Public Square.
The law firm of Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds, PLLC, was formed in April of 1987 when Jere and Jody joined their practice with that of Robert Rochelle, who was licensed in 1969.
As the firm outgrew its offices on the Square; Jere presented the partnership with his vision of building on the historic Castle Heights Military Academy campus. A leader in the rebirth of the area, RMA moved into its new offices in October of 1994. Additional growth brought about expansion of the building in 2007.
Jere McCulloch believed the way to practice law was through the formation of a firm practicing all areas of the law. Today, Rochelle, McCulloch & Aulds is Wilson County’s largest law firm. We lost Jere, our founding member and friend, in August of 2013. RMA is extremely pleased to now have a presence in his home town, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
